Jones Artist Reed
The Jones Artist Bassoon Reed is designed for intermediate to advanced players.
They are made of select cane, and are hand finished by our testers to provide better response than our student reeds throughout the entire range of the instrument.

Each reed is individually tested and adjusted by hand.

We would suggest all first year players start with Medium Soft or Medium reeds (red thread). After the embouchure is more developed, consider a Medium Hard strength or the Artist Series reeds if playing for more than 1 year.
